Baldwin Concert Master player system
on: November 12, 2006, 09:29:53 AM
I recently purchased the concert master system at a going out of business sale at a music store. Does this work with any baldwin piano, or does this have to be a new piano. Also, would this player system work on any piano?

Hi sound123,
As per Roy Peters of CINCYPIANO
"The two choices are Pianodisc and QRS Pianomation Systems. These two systems can be installed on just about any modern piano. Many of my customers have Baldwin Concertmaster systems. These were QRS systems with a Baldwin control head. I am the only technician in the Cincinnati area who was certified to install Baldwin Concertmaster systems. I am certified to install Pianodisc systems as well.
Installation:
Either Pianodisc or QRS systems can be retrofit to your piano. Typically, the piano is moved out of your home to a shop in order to do this. It would be possible to do an installation in place, but not practical in most circumstances. "
So what you have purchased should work OK!
