Thanks for all your replies! I agree with most of the things being said. The point made by asyncopated is the same one as my teacher did: to have more space and contrast in the romantic section. I think it still sounds a little bit 'burocratic'. I will try to work on it.
I think this also has to do with being nervous (at least in my case). I always play faster than I want and I lose breath all the time. I expect it will be better the next time.
To answer the question of pianistimo: the end is certainly not modified with a computer or something, and to be honest, I play it even faster at home (at concerts I don't because I don't want to lose control). For me the tempo in this recording is fine, in any case, I can hear what I am doing and I have control. That is really important for me. I agree that too fast playing often loses its essence, but I think with this kind of music, you can search your limit and take risks (although my teacher also said it was too fast anyway).
