Help, need some piano info please
on: November 28, 2006, 01:58:36 PM
Hi everyone. I am thinking about buying a piano, but i need some advice. I don't intend to buy a grand, i am looking for an upright or a digital. About the digitals, i already know many brands and have some information. But about uprights i know practicaly nothing. Could someone please give me some info on brands, their price and quality, overall availability, reliabillity, etc...? I thank in advance for the help.

Check out "The Piano Book" by Larry Fine.  It covers all of your questions, and more, including ratings for new and used pianos, how to buy a piano, what to look for, etc.

The fastest way to get this excellent reference it to purchase it on-line, unless a local book store has it.  check it out at:

Good luck.
