hi~ i'm looking for the information of "intermezzo op119 no2 in major A" by brahms, is anyone of u out there know about it? i couldn't find the story about it... if u guys know it pleas tell me! urgent! thanks ;D ;D

It's an extrapolation of the initial three-note motive.  The feeling of longing is done through Brahms' standard practice of thematic transformation.  The canon is beautiful, and well wrought.

BTW your topic says 119.  Please don't post in all caps-hurts my eyes 8).

The "story" is apocryphal and without truth.
