judging by his pictures, he's definately a man.  need you doubt?  i mean - he used to be a weightlifter.  a sort of popeye guy.  with a friend called 'mental martin.'  i think i even know his address - but, i'd have to waituntil getting to gravesend to confirm it in the phonebook.  he thinks he's unfindable because he doesn't answer his profile questions correctly.  if he's not at home, he's in the shetlands.  (girls don't go there.  there's no malls).

Yes, I think that you can be relied upon to have made the correct conclusion here.

i think i even know his address
Has no one ever told you that it's sometimes dangerous to think...

- but, i'd have to waituntil getting to gravesend to confirm it in the phonebook.
This raises two questions; first of all, are you planning to go to the place that you mention? - and, if so, when?  - and secondly, would you really make that journey on spec on the basis that all you'd have to do to look Thal up once you are in that vicinity would be to check his number in the phone book? Isn't this latter rather risky? If you wish to check his phone number, would it not be more sensible and much less costly to do this from the relative comfort of your Philadelphian home rather than make a long journey first? After all, until you make that check, you will not know whether or not his phone number is unlisted, will you?

he thinks he's unfindable because he doesn't answer his profile questions correctly.
Does he? can you be certain of this? What evidence do you have to support this belief (as I think I may have asked you once beore in another context)...

if he's not at home, he's in the shetlands.
Can you be so certain that he is only ever in one or other of two locations?

(girls don't go there.  there's no malls).
Plenty of squalls, though...

my aunt and i are going to travel randomly sometime somewhere.  we are betwixt and between the bahamas and the british isles.  i don't have a lot of time.  therefore, i'm thinking that the bahamas would be a bit quicker travel time.  by the time we'd get to london or gatwick - we'd not even be able to walk.  that's like paying an airline for a torture chamber.

pennsylvania has a lot of unexplored territory.  i'll probably end up going nowhere and die in my backyard.  even some parts of that are unexplored, really.  take the old birdfeeder for instance.  that was a year ago.  must put some more birdseed out.

if one or the other or both of you came over to pennsylvania - i'd take you around the sights.

You - not I  - mentioned Gravesend. I have no idea what your travel plans may be, but the rest of what you write here really makes less than no sense in any context.

I'm sorry - whilst most of us know the one about the US and UK being divided by a common language, I fail entirely to comprehend anything of what you write about here; are you deliberately trying to be obsequious?

if one or the other or both of you came over to pennsylvania - i'd take you around the sights.
In presuming you to mean Thal and myself, whilst appreciating your generosity of spirit here, I don't think that I (I cannot speak for Thal) would understand anything that you might feel disposed to tell us about them, or about anything else, on the "strength" of what you have just written. Your language is becoming ever more "foreign" to me.

ok.  we'll leave it at that.  do you wish to quote me?  for so long - you quoted everything i said - now - it's 'i don't understand a thing you say.'  well, why the heck do you quote everything as though it's really important.  maybe you're more of a tease than you appear.

Well, "wish" is not a word that I'd especially choose to use in this context, personally; I've quoted you only in order to try to answer, as seriously as I am able, the various things that you have written - no more, no less - as far as I have been able to understand them...

he's in the shetlands.  (girls don't go there.  there's no malls).

I'd take that as a recommendation... can't bear shopping centres. I did all my Christmas shopping online this year, purely to avoid them! Although, being trapped on an island with Thal and the infamous Mental Martin is a scary thought...

Actually I mean to ask judging by his contact addresses and name, because to me his addresses sound girly but his name sounds like he's a straight male. lol. You know his address? Wow..

Tis a shame, as we were wondering if you would like to join us on St Kilda next summer.

Now there is a place for a wildlife photographer.

Mainly sea birds and a hairy breed of sheep.

The St Kildan house mouse became extinct only 20 years after the Island was evacuated.

St Kilda is now a world Heritage Site and in my humble opinion, looks to be about the most beautiful place in the world.

See you at the ferry terminal at Oban.

Consider me booked! Generally speaking I'll have the birds rather than the sheep, though... more photogenic... Although if Dougal will be there as well I shall expect tea and biccies to be provided as part of the package!
