I was just wondering. Because I feel MSN is like an essential part of my life to communicate with people !! (Is that unhealthy ??!!)

I remember back in the day when ICQ was the rage.  Unfortunately it also bogged down computer resources and made your machine slower when running it.

Then MSN came out, and it was simple and it worked.  I don't like all this advertising and such in the new versions of MSN.  It's too tacky, and is just a waste of screen space.

I don't Yahoo too much, because most of my friends are on MSN.

I like GoogleTalk - down-to-earth - no irritating toys.

Does anyone use Trillian?  I believe it allows you to use all of the major instant messaging tools - AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ.  https://www.ceruleanstudios.com/

My parents don't allow me to use msn cos they think its some public chat site, and they think i'm so stupid to tell the world my name, age, address, gender and everything else then I'll get raped or something.. Its agony... And btw, I'm not allowed to post on forums..

yeah i used to use that. however, it doesnt change your avatar and user title as easily and doesnt have all the bells and whistles that the original clients have. btw i cant live without instant messaging. its like a phone, but better. speaking of that, does anyone use skype? its so awesome.

hmm, well I know a few Brits who use AIM.

I tried Trillian once, but I just use AIM and MSN, so if I'm on both, I run them seperately.

Anybody use Skype?  It's a voice chat program.
