Greetings.
It is rather exquisite, and all mainly due to the "Anything" room. I too am amazed at the level of intimacy experienced here, leading me to an assumption that perhaps the most "annoying" and bothering threads are responsible for the liveliness of the forum. Such threads ignite debates and a highly opinionated claims, and this naturally leads to more members participating in discussion, thus getting to know the personalities of others and furthermore, themselves. Ironically, this forum does very little to actually assess piano playing, and even less in actually improving it. If one is looking for particular answers, one is bound to get loads of them, with every which one not being necessaraly suitable to the poster. Teachers best assess problems and provide solutions, but teachers have many methods and sometimes, methods clash. This clashing of opinion again constitutes public debate, and again gives rise to the higher level or member participation. In other words, debates.
