on: January 01, 2007, 03:27:27 PM

I hope you can help me.
Thanks a lot

Edit: If you haven't the score: I've created one.

Dear Xardas:
I think you refer to 149, don't you? First, you have to use both hands: LH plays the lower fifth (C-G), and RH play the G. To myself, the best fingering is LH 4-1 and RH 3 3 32. About movements, I use a slight wrist to play them, with some forearm to reinforce the bar change. It's important to start studying it in somewhat fast tempo, because the use of muscles is different when you have to do this in MM=80 or MM=150. In other words, the kind of work you have playing such a figure slow or fast is very distinct.
Notice that you have this figure several times in the piece, e.g., bars 8-10 and 13-15. Anyway, in these parts you have a sustained note in RH, what restrain a bit your movements, but is important to figure out how to play without any stiffness, even when you have to play it loud (bar 15 for instance).
Hope it work out! Any further help you need, please let me know.
Best to you, and Happy New Year.
