I love to have friends over and get into deep philosophical and theological discussions (my husband is a pastor so it's always fun).  Our family also loves to go to the NASCAR races when they come to town, which is twice a year - YAY!   We're also great DODGER and Laker fans.  My oldest son is slowly converting me into a Kings hockey fan.  I never thought that would happen.

How about the rest of you?

I love to cross country ski, bike, swim, go out for margaritas,  :o, and then, piano, piano, and more piano.  No time for reading these days!

I love reading, and as my name suggests, I also have a dog, so I love taking her for walks. (Especially when the weather is great, but even if it's not, it's still good to get some fresh air...!) I also love skiing but only go skiing once a year as we live in Scotland and the snow is not always reliable over here....so we usually take a week's holiday in Switzerland. (This year for a change we're going to France.....)

I also love to read, work puzzles and garden.  I love to "talk" to people on the forum, and IM my kids!  Sometimes I think I don't spend enough time at the piano!

I also LOVE to read - just don't get enough time to do it.  However, while my son is at baseball practice and/or AWANA I sqeeze in a couple of hours.

Chocolate - have you been getting some of that fierce weather?  I just saw all those winds in Germany.  Stay warm . . . brrrrrrrrrr

I like to read, but I haven't been doing quite as much of that lately. (Though I have been reading a lot of diet books, that doesn't count so much as reading when you are used to "The Divine Comedy" and "Paradise Lost".)

I like to write.

I like to study languages.  I know french, have studied German, Spanish, Japanese and even elvish. (Yes... that fake language from LOTR...)

I like to draw.  It's one of the only things that comes completely naturally to me.  I don't feel vulnerable or like I'm not very good.  I know that there are people that are better than me, but my art is so weird and creative that I feel best at what I do.  I don't as much passion for it as piano, but it is so much more relaxing.

On top of drawing I like designing clothes.  I'd never thought of it before, but I used to draw lots of different clothing without even paying attention to what I was doing.  Then every single person (not exagerating here...) asked if I was going to be a fashion designer.

It kinda sucks that I'm basically bad at anything that isn't considered an art... u.u

I love to read, but I also love to spend extra time with my horse.  Every spare moment builds a better relationship between the two of us.  The stronger our bond becomes, the more we understand what each other wants: therefore, we can accomplish more.

Elisianna - my cousin once studied elvish so much she could talk to us in it!  She taught me abit, but not much... :(  Oh well.  :)

[lau] 10:01 pm: like in 10/4 i think those little slurs everywhere are pointless for the music, but I understand if it was for improving technique
