La Campanella pdf
on: February 16, 2004, 05:14:05 AM
Does anybody know where I can find a .pdf file of Liszt's "La Campanella" other than at the Sheet Music Archives? For some reason, I downloaded their edition, and it won't print on my printer, maybe the document is corrupted, I don't know. Other .pdf's work on my printer, though, so I don't know what's wrong.
Thanks in advance!

6th, I think you are one of the most helpful people on this forum.

Definitely. Actually, 6th, I think your helpfulness is a more effective way of showing your beliefs than debating over there in our religious debate rooms.

Thanks, even though it is somewhat hypocritical of me to engage in piracy all over the place

You have a point, there. I guess alot of the various file sharings that go on between forum members are technically illegal. It kind of reminds me of the tragedy of Antigone. Creon ordered a law that was unpopular; Antigone broke it when she thought she was doing the right thing. Creon called her a criminal, which she technically was. In a way, we are breaking the law, but the intentions are not malicious, and no one is making an illegal profit from it.

Yes, that is my reasoning. Plus a lot of the stuff out there is Public Domain anyway. only a few pieces I have given out were copyrighted. I figure that if somebody is expanding their musical knowledge by way of my gross violation of the law, it's worth it.

One of my friends played Antigone brilliantly in a more modern French version.
