I think back to some things I used to say, old ideas I held, battles I've had...  I've done a lot of dumb things!

and I'm sure a few years from now I'll still be able to look back, shake my head and wonder "what the hell was I thinking?"

At least, I hope so.  It would be pretty sad if my ideas didn't change, if I didn't grow over the years.

But let me tell you, the worst thing by far is to have something stupid captured on film!  The lens is objective, it doesn't fade like bad memories, it doesn't put a funny spin on things, what looked stupid back then looks just as stupid today.

My first post was the classic, "what do I learn next?" 

I feel so stupid now. How can anyone tell you what you should be learning next. 

I still often see the same thing asked be "Newbies", and in a couple of months they will be replying to this thread. lol.
