Thoughts on piano intro?

I just finished reworking a piano intro for an upcoming concert. I thought I'd run it by you to see if you think it works. I had originally intended to play closer to the melody such as when the orchestra comes in but hey, you never know what works until you ask somebody else.

Well i sorta like it pretty well. A nice nostalgic mood.
