This kind of disrespect is only to be found at pianostreet or Youtube. :(

I saw the original broadcast--it did not cut away to the control room while he was playing, nor did it miss the first minutes of the piece! This version has obviously been edited, and in view of the man's art and later suffering/death, it's wildly disrespectful.

How did he die? he wasn't very old.

He had a severe stroke...he lingered for a while and made a partial recovery, then he had several other strokes and died in 2005 at age 35.

Yea that video was definitely irritating to watch. But atleast the original version wasn't like that. It's definitely misleading though, whether its some editing nonsense or not.
