Ginestera Danza Argentina
on: February 03, 2007, 08:17:05 PM
Hi,

I recorded Danza de la Moz Donosa from Ginestera's three Argentenian dances. I'm playing it for a student recital today. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

I enjoyed the recording very much. I can't comment very much in detail though, because I don't know the piece very well yet. You play very beautifully, and you definitely deserve a better piano :)

Hi Winterwind,

it seems that you play the Moza Donosa very well, delicate and tender. Perhaps it could have a bit more power on the big, dissonant chords.

There seems only to be a little problem with the piano (besides that it's out of tune -
like almost every piano most of the time  :D )

It sounds, as if the dampers fall upon the strings just a fraction of a second after you pressed the key, that could be a mechanical problem, where a piano technician could help with turning some screws to adjust the distance between dampers and strings.
If it doesn't work - try something different!
