tausig-weber invitation to the dance

I listened to a recording of this and i thought it was amazing. what do you people think about this piece and who is your favorite player of it?

I am almost certain you mean Weber and not Webern.

This is my favourite transcription by far and has been for sometime. Tausig took an already great piece of music and made it even better. Took me months of hard practise to get this one under my belt but due to lazyness, i have dropped it.

Not a massive amount of recordings on this one. I think i have heard 3, the best IMO being Moiseiwitsch, but the recording is slightly cut.

This piece cries out to be recorded by one of todays great virtuosi.
