Chopin 10/5

Hey!

I'm working on that etude. Havin' a great time too.

Now what is the average speed you guys play it ? I like it rather slow, 100-108 (Horowitz himself keeps it at a moderate tempo), but lots of pianists take it a neck breaking speed (in the 120s). What do you think ?

Personally, I think this is one of the etudes that really comes across much better when played at high speed, brilliantly, and very lightly. I would not say this for every Chopin etude.
