In case somebody cares
on: April 08, 2007, 05:34:46 AM
I posted a thread about a month ago or so asking wether I should get a digital piano or an upright at the same price... I think all of you "accoustic supporters" will be glad to know I made up my mind and went for the upright. They brought it last week and I simply couldn't lift my ass from its bench ever since. Thanx for your advice.

;D Congratulations! You've made a wise choice. I first bought an acoustic piano. After some time I added a Yamaha stage piano for silent practice. Let me tell you, I only use the Yamaha to work on memorization. You can't really work on dynamics or technique, especially when even, fast passages, and trills, occur. The acoustic piano is an extension of my hands. The Yamaha is like a prosthetic device.
I wish you many hours of joy with your new piano. keep us posted on your progress. It would be fun to see pictures of your new piano.
