Personal recordings?
on: March 03, 2004, 05:13:14 PM
i'm interested in finding a web site where nobody's like me could put simple home-made recordings and have anybody else criticize them - a sort of a "rate-my-recording" site. anyone know anything like that?

you should post this idea on the other boards too! Someone has to know something.                Mark :)

It would be cool if this site would create such a board.

Until then though, the website "The Chopin Files" has a board they call "The Audition Room."

The members are kind to each other in their reviews, maybe too much so.  Lots of "10's."  Try it out!

If you have a website of your own, you can always host your files and just post links to your recordings here.

Another possibility:

You could try https://www.35mb.com/

It is a free site that you can upload files for others to download.

Cheers ;D

Poems of Ecstasy – Scriabin’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

The great early 20th-century composer Alexander Scriabin left us 74 published opuses, and several unpublished manuscripts, mainly from his teenage years – when he would never go to bed without first putting a copy of Chopin’s music under his pillow. All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
