avetma,

A really fine performance!  I love this piece and and thought you played it with great panache.  There were a couple of times I would have liked to have heard the bass three-note ascending chromatic motif played with a bit more force and clarity, but that could have been a function of the piano.  That LH motif is as important as the RH melody.  You certainly have a big technique and superb dynamic control here.  I loved that spot near the end after the sfff when next comes a subito pp that you play in a way to make it drift out from underneath the lingering sounds of the bombast preceding it--very artistic.  Super!

About that 'three-note ascending'... That motif comes in pair, so my idea was that first motif (Ab-A-Bb) is like crescendo and SF on last note; but the second one is like answer - Crescendo (c-c#) and calm f#.
Same thing with other appearances of this motif. That was my intention, but maybe it was not clear enough... :(

Again, thanks for your feedback :)

Excellent performance. You have the spirit of the piece down, by turns ironic and violent. My only complaint is that the you lose the tempo sometimes during the driving 8th note rhythmic motive, which kills the forward motion so important to this piece. Specifically I heard this at .38. You restored the tempo at 1.04 leading to an impressive climax at 1.09. You lost the time again at 1.18 but pulled it together at 1.31. I think if you take this back to the practice room and work slowly and at tempo with a metronome these problems will be rectified, since yo  have a good technique and are a good musician.  The final climax was especially impressive, paced perfectly. I agree with rachfan about the suspension of time after the final glissando; I've never heard that done before, I assume that it's your own idea; cool! Hope to hear more from you.  :)

arensky,
nice words for this - ironic and violent :)
I am aware of losing tempo, but on 1.18-1.31 I wanted to slow down a little. Probably it isn't nicest interpretation, but I will work on this :D
And yes, that final climax was my own idea, I haven't heard it anywhere before.

Thank you!

Ohhhh  Very nice.  This piece is hard as hell.  I wouldn't want to play it.  Your a brave soul!  Loved the PP ending.
