YES, they are incredible masterpieces, which in my experience are played quite a lot. Actually, I think it is very fortunate that they are not being played more often. Think of Beethoven Moonlight, Chopin Nocturnes op 9 or 27 or his 10/3 etude and how the most outstanding music can become nauseating to the ear if played too often. Of the set I think that: op 90/1 = The most dramaticop 90/2 = The most effectfulop 90/3 = The most lovely (arguably of all short romantic piano pieces) op 90/4 = The most pianisticAs an encore I would pick 90/2 anytime.
