logging off
on: May 02, 2007, 11:31:32 AM
last night i thought i logged off.  usually, if i don't - i'm automatically logged off within 20 minutes of no messaging.  was wondering - since someone else took the double name 'pianistimo' awhile back - if they can access my account somehow and write messages in my name?  the fact that the name appearred several months back took me by surprise.  i don't know if the person ever logged anything into it - but i know that it is possible to change what people say inside quotations.

therefore - so people understand that i am concerned about this issue - i will not post for several days.  if you see a posting under 'pianistimo' - then consider it someone else.

I think that most of us can tell if it is you or not my little sweetie.

That other user you refer to was pianissimo i think, which is one letter difference. Surely it must be impossible to have another member with the exact name.

oh.  yes.  one letter off.  ok.  i will then disregard the idea of staying off pianoforum for several days.   probably respond to the 'do aliens go to heaven?' next.

? perhaps my computer won't allow nils to disconnect me anymores.  or perhaps nils thinks that i want to be on all night.  i went to bed thinking that i logged off - and get up and find i am still logged in.  then, i think - did i sleepwalk last night - go to the computer - turn it on (i thought i turned it off) - and write something in my sleep?  i thought it disconnected after 20 minutes of non-use.

stranger things have happened.  i consider this one of the mysteries of life.

You mean like I do? Try adding the activity "composer" to your current list...
