Glinka's Pathetique Trio, 1st and 4rd Mvmt
on: May 14, 2007, 12:32:13 PM
Hello,
I am a french pianist amateur. I have studied piano when I was young, but i haven't played during a very long long time.
However, since 2005, i try to play again and i take lessons in a adult piano course at the music school of my city.
But my experience in public representation, and especially  in chamber music, is very poor ( like my english  ;) ); this is my second experience in chamber-music, and also it's only for the second time that i play in a public presentation of my school of music.

Thanks in advance for your advices and suggestions  !

Hi Ruby,

For someone who had been away from piano for so long and has only been studying most recently for the past three years, you've made wonderful progress.  I believe you are too modest about your ensemble performance.  I was impressed!  You demonstrated fine competence in your playing and empathy with the wind instrument musicians in the trio.  Your playing displayed confidence in execution, a solid technique, thoughtful interpretation and collaboration, a wide dynamic range, careful pedaling, and fluidity in passagework.

Aussi, est-ce que la piano est une Playel?  En general, je pense que votre representation etait en vigueur.  De plus, c'est un gran plaisir ecouter ici cette musique de Glinka.  A nouveau, je pense que votre effort etait tres bon, tres bon!   Merci.
