it is nice, but is it a bit too short for music festival? I would rather do complete partita and complete the sonata and then Rach as an encore (in case of half recital)
Which kind of festival is it? are you going to play them in masterclass or concert?

some music festivals give you a time limit, which depending on which one can be too short to do a whole sonata.

i think that repertoire is fine- ive personally found the rach preludes are particularly well suited to these things

i'm doing non-competitive , richmond fest bc cauz I'm too old to do the competitive category for recital class(age limit of 16) and the other thing is that this is my 1st time that im going to take part in a music fest as i never had the chance to b4 i came to canada and my teacher wants to start me off with this before she sends me for Kawanis next year. I only have half an hour to play 3 pieces.

my teacher has been thinking about letting my do competitive instead. The drawback is that there will be other people who have already finished off their piano diploma.

1. Bach-Partita No.2 in c minor: Sinfonia
2. Haydn- Sonata in E-flat major HVI 59, 1st &3rd movement
3. Chopin- Etude in F major Op.10 No.8

What do you think about it?
