Name this pianist...
on: June 14, 2007, 05:07:58 AM
Does anyone know the name of the winner of the 2nd International Chinese Piano Competition ? A very young Yundi Li finishes in third place. I'm intrigued by the playing of the actual winner - what a good pianist !
This is not trivia - I actually don't know his name... thanks.

I actually own the DVD for this competition - I bought it in Shanghai. I'm pretty sure you can buy it on ebay as well.
Chuan Qin really blew that competition away. Does anyone know if he has an album, does he concertize, etc ? I'd like to hear more on this lesser-known but good pianist.
