finally got a real piano!
on: March 17, 2004, 05:01:23 AM
i just recently got a vertical piano it's a yamaha pearl river UP108D3, and i was just wondering if I made a good choice, considereing we only paid like 2400$. I know it's not the best, but for what we could afford. Does anybody own a peal river? i can't wait till they deliver it, it's SOOO much better than the 61 key keyboard i have been practicing on  ;D

I'm not familiar with this particular model, but if it's any good at all it'll be much better than using a 61-key electronic keyboard for practicing.  Congratulations!
It's GREAT to be a classical musician!

Assuming you quoted US Dollars... if it has got all 88 keys and at least two pedals and all the keys and pedals work, then you've got yourself at least a fair deal.  Congratulations on the new piano! ;D

Yea it has all the keys, lol... It's small though, 41 inches tall, but that's better than a spinet!
