Very well played Thalberg!  Seems like you and jlh has the piece down...  I plan to learn it in the near future.

This is very good! Is that an almost inaudible goof-up at 2:35? If so, that is remarkable in itself! To not have worse things happening in a piece like this shows an impressive control! For my taste, the arpeggio at 2:57 doesn't quite stop the flow enough, which seems to be the purpose of it. I would have liked it slightly more spread out, louder, and waited a fraction of a second more before continuing. The long trill that follows is a jewel!

Thanks for all the encouragement, everyone! :)  I listened to the 2:35 thing and yes, I remember my hand slipped there.  But hey, this recording is totally unedited.

When Practice Stagnates – Breaking the Performance Ceiling: Robotic Training for Pianists

“Practice makes perfect” is a common mantra for any pianist, but we all know it’s an oversimplification. While practice often leads to improvement, true perfection is elusive. But according to recent research, a robotic exoskeleton hand could help pianists improve their speed of performing difficult pianistic patterns, by overcoming the well-known “ceiling effect”.
