Has anyone here ever read this book before? Its 'Animal Farm' by George Orwell. i think it a GREAT book, and the way Orwell described his feelings towards Stalin was wonderful.

I've only read parts of it.

I did see "Animal House" recently, though...

Oh well it's somewhere here in this mess.

Truly one of the great books of all time, and sadly very true in it's assesment of the human social/political condition. Absolute power will corrupt absolutely.

Unless I have it!  ;D

Isn't it a myth that watching a screen hurts your eyes?

Sure, its not as comfortable. But hurt or damage?

You can get electronic pads which you can use to display digital books and read them almost like real paper, or so is claimed.

The current political climate in the US eerily mirrors both Animal Farm and 1984.It's getting scarier by the minute. "Big Brother" is definitely watching since no one ever asks "what happened to the milk and apples."

Yes, Orwell was a genius in Allegories. He interprets them so well.
