Looking for narrow Acoustic or Digital...
on: March 25, 2004, 02:44:41 PM
I´m moving soon and I'd like to take my Schimmel-Piano with me.

In my new room there's only space for a 1,35 m wide instrument - my piano as most other Acoustics is 1,45 m wide.

So I started thinking about a Digital - but the Yamaha Clavinovas are already 1,37 to 1,39 m wide...

Does anyone know an Acoustic or a Digital that might be interesting for me? My Schimmel-Keyboard is 1,23 m wide, so there should be Acoustics or Digitals which are only 1,31 or 1,33 m wide, right?

Hi,
How about Yamaha CLP 120? I do not know what is the dimension of this digital piano but I have heard it sounds great, though it can never beat the sound of a good baby grand piano.

you can go to www.cvpug.com for more information. You can post your question there too.

You can go to a piano showroom and try as many digital pianos as possible. You can try Technics, Roland and Yamaha and of course kawai digital pianos.
