Etudes please
on: August 04, 2007, 06:04:39 AM
Hi ..back again.  A while back I submitted a request for some Czerny, Heller, Moskowski etudes...to be replied with what numbers!!  It's for a piano competition for my students, and guess what, I've checked with them about what numbers, and they've said ANY!! they've deliberately left it open!  It's for an under 11 Beethoven competition, with rondo in A, being the compulsory piece.  Any help?  need it desperately as the first round is round the corner, and the etudes are part of the first round!
Thanks,
Wenat

Ok, i have sorted through my files and will upload onto sendspace.

I have had to filter out considerable private collector scans and library scans, but i have bundled up about 70mb.

There are probably some duplications, due to my feeble filing abiities.

Wow!  Thanks a million...now all I have to do is spend the rest of the year brwsing through them all  :o Any suggestions?  One student is playing Beethoven's bagatelles op 119 Gminor, & C major. The other is playing Beethoven Sonata Op 49 no.2. Both are playing the Rondo in A major, and  one TPI each for the competition, just to give you an idea of leveling.  I have to admit to my ignorance of the etudes of heller. moskowski and czerny. Thanks again Thal!

Perhaps then the Heller Op90. I have not gone through the lot, but they should be managable for someone of the level you describe.

The Moszkowski Op24 would be out of the question.
