Schumann etudes on Beethoven's 7th
on: August 13, 2007, 03:47:16 PM
I'm looking for a quite obscure schumann set, called 'Études in the form of free variations on as theme by Beethoven' (Allegretto of Beethoven’s Symphony #7; one variation published as Op. 124/2
Does anyone have it?
Thanks in advance

That's the one!
Please do post something on october 1st (unless we agree to change the date) otherwise it undermines the whole idea. I will post what i have, even if it is a complete train wreck. Good luck!

I am learning about 7 or 8 pieces at the moment, plus studying full time, so i won't be able to get it ready any earlier. Is that a problem?

Is there a recording of this anywhere?

I've been interested in this work for a while.
