I have to write an honors term paper for school and the topic is "the compositional characteristics of the Prokofiev Piano Sonatas"  I have the scores and recordings by Yakov Kasman.  does anyone have any information about these pieces, and if so could you post it here or put a link to a website that I could find info at?

Thanks

Go to a library, and do some research. You won't get much quality information from Web sites. Also, how are you going to decide yourself the value/accuracy of information you get on the Web, or whether it's been  plagiarized?

Find some biographical material about him. Find some books that talk about his compositional style comparing and contrasting him with his compemporaries. Find some overall information about the sonata form.

Once you do that, then develop your own ideas, and write the paper.

Sounds like a lot of fun, and a great opportunity to learn.
