Is Lang Lang getting fat?

Not to be mean to Lang Lang, but is he spending too much time at the piano, and perhaps eating cookies during his practice breaks?

I dunno, but he difinitely "faked" the ending!  I think he only played like 10-12 notes that Liszt wrote...

Lang Lang is the Chinese version of Liberaci.
Let's give him 5 more years, he will definitely emulate Liberaci wardrobe....
and in 10 years, he will wear many rings.

He's faking it, and everyone is lying to us.  They are all lying. The commenters on youtube are lying.  He is faking it and this piece is the height of all piano techniques.  If you cannot gorilla rape the octaves in this piece, you are not really a pianist.  And the audience is being lied to, and you are the one doing the lying.  They teach you in conservatory how to fake it, how to trick the audience in order to spite them, and to be sycophantic towards the critics so they will lie for you.  Everyone is lying and he is not really playing, it is just a record of Kastle playing while Lang Lang air-taps the keys.

Just because you can't play at level 10, aka gorilla rape level, doesn't mean you should put down kastle.  Why is everybody lying?  All those recordings are lies.   They must be computerized in the studio.  The critics are also lying.  Stop lying to us!  Tell us the truth: nobody is playing level 10.  They couldn't get past the boss in level 9 (Chopin octave etude).  Whats on the secret level?

Besides, everytime there is a video of him playing, the camera also focuses on his face. How he alters his facial expressions is jsut very distracting!

To be fair, I really do not think that he fakes his facial expression.
You can imagine how difficult for anybody to play (he plays pretty well, if not great) and at the same time he or she needs to make various facial expressions.
Eventhough his facial expressions look so weird, but if you pay attention the expressions match to the mood of the pieces that he plays.

He just need to get a person who can dress him up.....
I do not know who dress him up. It looks ugly....

I am not a Lang Lang fan. But anyway, how can all of you start making claims that he's faking. I have seen him perform at the concert hall here twice, he does not fake, end of story.
That Richard Kastle guy gave some of you the idea i'm pretty sure. And for your info I don't think well of him at all.

Hmm.... I think you are lying.  Richard Kastle would say you are lying.  You may have seen Lang Lang in concert hall, but you know he plays level 7, and fakes it, probably Disklavier with cheat codes.  The critics are lying, the conseravtories are lying, the ads in the paper are lying, everyone is lying.  He fakes it, he is fake, hjis playing is fake, only one person plays at level 10 and beyond.

anyway what's so great about those levels, seriously. All that matters is that the playing is polished and is excellent technique and musical-wise.

why do I need to be jealous? All I need to do is make sure that i'm achieving what I want to achieve. Why should I care?

Lang Lang is probably looking at the plate of chicken wings on a high table, thus his look.
