Many ways to do that.  You could try looking up how to write CSS.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

I'm assuming you are talking about regular webpage viewing browser-wide. If you are in IE7, go to the bottom right and you'll see some percentages. If you are in IE6. Go to View->Text Size at the top. Brain.

Incorrect. IN IE7 the percentage is the zoom size. If you want to change text size you need to go to the TOP-RIGHT. Select -PAGE, then select TEXT SIZE.

If you are writing HTML then look here:
https://www.webdiner.com/annexe/font/font.htm

You normally embed all the features of a font within the font tag:
eg/
<FONT SIZE=4 FACE="Arial Black">This is your text in Arial size 4</FONT>

Someone could easily misinterpret zoom as font size, and it's more likely that you'll accidentally click the percentages than anything else. Hence, the previous comment.

Also, this is infinitely superior to the ancient "size" tag:

<font style="font-size:14px"></font>

But of course, it's always better to create your own stylesheet with all dat sh*t in it already.

Agreed. It has been years since I have written any HTML and I'm sure it has moved on.

Hence my reference to CSS.

Maybe something like this:
Code: [Select]
<div class="whatever_you_want">
I want this text smaller
</div>

with something like this:
Code: [Select]
<style type="text/css">
.whatever_you_want {
font-size: 16px;
}
</style>

Change webpage text size
You can make webpages easier to read by changing the text size. If you change the text size, graphics and controls will remain in their original size but the text size will change.

To change webpage text size

Open Internet Explorer.
Click the Page button, click Text Size, and then click the size you want.
 Notes

To increase the size of everything on a webpage, including graphics and controls, use the zoom feature. To learn how to zoom, click Related Topics.
This will change the size of text displayed in webpages, unless the text size was explicitly set by the person who created the page. To learn how to override text settings set by the person who created the webpage and use the fonts you pick instead, click Related Topics.
In addition to changing the font size, you can pick the specific font type face you want to use. To learn how, click Related Topics.
Stop analyzing; just compose the damn thing!
