Is a religion board REALLY going to be of help?
on: September 14, 2007, 04:58:24 AM
Greetings

It seems like some eager members have proposed a separate thread that should deal only with Religion related topics. Okay, but aside from bearing upon Nils the burden of moving every religion topic made into the mini-board, do you really think that all further religious discussion should be contained in the new premise? Think about it. What is stopping members who are propagating their beliefs from introducing the unwanted content in regular threads. Alot of threads will turn to religious debate and will therefore be moved to the religion board, much to the annoyance of many members and to the expulsion of potentially usefull threads.

Trouble is if he does move all the religous threads, wouldn't most of the 'anything but piano' threads be moved in there, as they all tend to veer towards religion eventually.
Never look at the trombones. You'll only encourage them.

Then I suppose 'anything but piano' can start getting occupied by, say, compositions stuff...
