Who knows more about Knauss

I've got an old piano "Knauss" Koblenz. on the left side you find C.A Fischer Köln. Inside you find a serial number. Who knows more about the history of these piano's, the quality, and maybe some websitelinks. I want to repare it, but i'm not sure if its worth it.
