I already discovered him a few months ago. He IS impressive. And you may say there are a lot of these guys (I don't really think so, not at that level), you must admit he is a huge talent. You can see on youtube a video of him when he was 9 in a masterclass with Lang Lang.
Currently learing:
- Chopin: Ballade No.3
- Scriabin: Etude Op. 8 No. 2
- Rachmaninoff: Etude Op. 33 No. 6
- Bach: P&F No 21 WTC I

Actually not only Asian kids practice like this, everybody who has the desire to be a good pianist must do this. By the way, Rachmaninoff also practiced like crazy. Have you seen the BBC documentary about kids and young people who pursue a concert pianist carreer? They also practice long hours.

I saw many of Asian kids in many piano competitions, but this one plays like an adult. I like his playing. Could you hear the difference between his playing and other kids'??

Man what is wrong with this little guy. He immitates Lang Lang's body movements or style of playing. His playing is still good though, but his facial expression is ugly and the movements are so fake.....

In his old performance videos (before he became a mini Lang Lang) he looked very natural, but now one of the ugliest body movement that I have evern seen....so fake and artificial.

Lang Lang must stop giving masterclasses and learn how to make crescendos without pulling up strange faces;

That bit at the end really does have at least double entendre...
