Shostakovich - Prelude & Fugue in E, Op.87 no.9

hello everyone, recently i been working with Shostakovich - Prelude & Fugue in E, Op.87 no.9

i tired to search from the net to get more information/description on this piece or maybe on the composer prelude and fugue.
But nothing turn up.

hopefully anyone here can help me on it.
