Octave glissando.

  Well was having some fun with beethoven Waldstein sonata today when i realized that i simple can't play those octave glissando in the coda of the 3rd mvt, how should one approach that section.Tanx in advance. :'(

study pinky ownly glisses for a pretty long time, try to find the spot on the keys that glides best, and then add your thumb. A light piano definitely helps btw.

  Ammm sounds like a good idea Kassaa,btw have you heard the story of Serkin in a public recital puting his pinky and thumb in his nose just before the glissano just for lubrecation. yuck megga yuck.

old thread about this. I seems to have problems with this as well. Although it's like sometimes I get it and sometimes I don't.
