I don't know, where she is.

But I wouldn't be surprised, if she is sick of all these mean attacks against her. She doesn't deserve this sort of treatment!

I totally agree. Although she can be quite annoying when she infects every post with religion, but she is a valued member of this forum.  :-*

And I don't think that thalberg started this thread to attack her.  :'(

Pianistimo come back to PF. ( :

People ever heard of the expression " don't argue with a fool, people might not be able to tell the difference"?

I am not saying pianistimo is a fool at all.

But i do think a lot of people are fools for attacking her so religiously.

Perhaps she has finally been banned for constantly spamming perfectly neutral threads with huge blocks of biblical stuff despite repeated requests to stop.

Anyway her most recent incoherent and paranoid rants about the UN bringing down the world indicated she wasn't entirely well.

Taking a break from PF, as well as being a relief for other members, is probably in her best interests (and her family's), given what appeared to be an unhealthy internet addiction.

But what would I know? That's just based on her internet persona, which not everyone thought was cute or endearing at all.

Greetings

I would guess so. I just don't see her quitting the forum by herself. Last time she announced her dramatic escape had her not posting for like 15 minutes or less. I highly doubt that should she have the capacity to post on this forum she wouldn't give in.

I believe I did mention in some thread that she should devote less time to this forum. She reminds me of one of those internet addicts who spend all day long at the internet until their brain completely rots.

Whilst empathising with your remark about the spammings (as you will already appreciate that I do), I presume that pianistimo has not been "banned" as such, otherwise her membership would presumably not still show in the members' list with 11981(!) postings against it.

Anyway her most recent incoherent and paranoid rants about the UN bringing down the world indicated she wasn't entirely well.
I think that it shows that she was entirely - well - something!

Perhaps taking such a break is indeed what she is now doing. As far as I can tell, however, she seems to have been dividing her time between perfectly reasonable musical and other pursuits on the one hand and the pursuit of evangelistical-Christian Bible-thumping as a priority over anything that could be regarded as normal human intelligence, the former of which are at least potentially healthy and the latter of which is most definitely the opposite of healthy. She seems to have allowed herself to be brainwashed (or consciously brainwashed herself) in that latter area - so much so that, to an alarmingly large extent, she appears - as with most of her kind - largely to have parted company with the kind of Christianity pursued by other believing Christians and accordingly allowed her "beliefs" to convince her of all manner of historical and political "facts" and at the same time to blind her to many realities in ways that most Christians would not countenance. That this will likely all end in something far more serious than mere tears is far from a pleasant prospect to contemplate. I do not know her personally but would nevertheless say that, whether or not she returns to contribute to this forum, I hope very much that she will somehow contrive to find ways, with or without sympathetic and practical external help, to recover from her problem.

If Thal knows the answer to that one (especially if it is in the affirmative) he'll presumably know rather more than just that (although I doubt that he'd declare it here). Even if that were the case, however, I would feel less than tempted to visit such an establishment...

I've never yet encountered a newspaper that's like a dog, nor can I imagine why one would especially want to beat a dog with a newspaper (irrespective of the breed of dog or type of newspaper). Likewise, I cannot quite imagine P ever figuring out that "she's being a bad girl", especially since she's supposedly one of God's chillun. That said, I have no idea what the answer is (or even, indeed, if there is actually a question deserving of any kind of  answer in the first place)...

It would surely depend on what that something was, would it not? For example, if that something were that she had somehow seen the light and realised that her particular brand of inflexible, intolerant, unrealistic and fiercely proselytising "Christian" fundamentalism was not, after, all, the Way, the Truth and the Light, then would you still feel as you say you do here?

You joined on August 29, 2007, so you haven't seen some of the bad stuff she has written that was very offensive to some. For example, her views towards gays and the like. That caused quite a commotion. That's what makes me not miss her.

And I've been here for a quite a while (about 2-3 years), so I've seen a lot of her 12,000+ posts.

True, I've actually been a member longer than susan (i think?) and at first I sort of thought she was funny but after a while you just get annoyed.  It would be like trying to watch the entire series of Family Guy in one sitting; just too much randomness until it gets annoying.
