Yamaha's repeition? [Bob asks]

I don't remember the exact model, but...

What do you think of the repeition on Yamaha's digitals -- the S88 I think and the Clavinovas?

I have a Yamaha Digital Clavinova CLP-120. I usually play on my regular piano, but needed something that I could play on when I didn't want to disturb others. I enjoy the fact that I can record on it, as far as the keys go....it's more than adequate for what I need it for. I have no difficult playing on it, then transferring to the real thing. There is also a setting where you can choose the touch, whether it's easy, med or hard. No, it doesn't feel "exactly like" my piano, but again, it serves its purpose, and I liked this one better than any other I looked at, without spending a fortune.
Hope this helps.

Shag :)

well i've played on a clavinova....and the root of the answer to your question is that nothing will ever be as good on a imitation grand as on a real one
