First of all usually I don't practice less than 3 hours in a day, but second of all, I never count how much.  Instead I look at the pieces I am practicing and say, "What did I do with this piece today?"  Did I do a good job in whatever I was trying to do?  Did I improve the character?  did I determine a new character?  Did I master difficult passages?  Did I flesh out the form?  Did I improve the rhythm?  Did I make a sophisticated sound?

Then with experience you can say, do I need to do it again tomorrow, or is it accomplished now?

It depends, I am currently working on 10 pieces that I am focusing on, besides that i am learning 12 other chopin etudes.

On some days if I can't concentrate properly or if I am too tired I won't push myself to much. My min. is 3 hours but I seldom practise for only that amount of time.

Generally I do min.30 mins just on octaves alone.

In general it depends what you want to achieve/what you are aiming for
J.S Bach Italian Concerto,Beethoven Sonata op.2 no.2,Mozart Sonatas K.330&333,Chopin Scherzo no.2,Etude op.10 no.12&Fantasie Impromptu

It varies from about 1. 5 to 3 but it used to be more. However I now get more done now. Which lends credit to my belief that it isn't about the time it's about what you accomplish in that time that matters.

I practice 2 hours a day, split into 4 half hour slots. Somedays I do more, but that is more sporadic. It sounds unhelpful but you will feel if 3 hours isn't enough, if you split your sessions around your pieces you will be able to tell if at the end of a session you feel you have done all you can, or whether another 10, 15, 20 minutes would be of benefit. With this in mind there is also a limit at which you will feel there is no more my brain can take in at all, even when switching pieces, an overall maximum if you will, it just takes a while to find the optimum balance.
