Andras Schiff, Brahms and the Question of Tradition
Much attention and mention is given Sir Andras Schiff's latest remarkable recording of both Brahms’ piano concertos with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. Schiff's choice of instrument is a Blüthner grand piano built in Leipzig around 1859, the year in which the first D minor concerto was premiered. Schiff has changed foot in his views on period instruments and the recording can be seen as an ambitious attempt to scrutinize and fully bring out the true characteristics of Brahms' works. Beethoven - Sonatina in G major Moderato
on: December 23, 2007, 12:28:46 PM
Hello

I'm learning this piece in class and I made a video of the first part of it.
I play since late 2006 and this is my first recording ever :)
It was fun to do, but I had to do it like 5 times to have it without errors ;) But there are still some little flaws :) Anyway, here you go:

You are very talented for the time you've been playing ! I'd watch your overall finger legato, and relation to your back while you play. If you're not sure about how to do this, ask your teacher, I am sure you are ready to be initiated to such notions and will help improve your playing in many ways. Congratulations!

Hello,
your indexing titles this sonatina as in G major, which is correct.
However the sheet music page is headed "in G flat major.

With all these wonderful comments I wanted to see and hear the playing. Alas, the file has been removed..
