Chopin's Ballade 3 performance practice

Hi there!
I plan to study this piece soon, and it's a challenge to myself. Although I guess I can handle almost everything, there are some tricky passages (to the end) that I'm not sure about.
What do you folks think? Any hints, or suggestions to organize my daily practice?

A good place to start is in the Middle of it:

The C#m section with the broken octaves and chords cascading up & down the keyboard is not so easy to play with speed and articulation. That's what took me the greatest percentage of time and effort to master....and it's still a crap-shoot when I play that part; most of the time it's good but not always.

Seriously, I'm not satisfied with my study of large works, and want some ideas to enhance my practice.

What a difficult part indeed. I'm working on my arm movements right now, because the finger work is not that hard anymore. Anyway, I think it will really take time to be OK.
