i m looking for a free online subscription in a good piano/music magzine where i can access all the latest happenings in the piano/music world. does any 1 know abt such site where i can subcribe for free.

You're probably going to have a hard time finding anything for free, but I subscribe to Clavier magazine and it's pretty good:

Clavier is good. Most subscriptions that are free require an email address, and they're usually not even a magazine, but a small newsletter. Newsletters can have useful content, provided you don't mind getting product information related to the company publishing the newsletter.

I subscribe to Clavier.  (They have a website.)   I believe they offer a student rate too.  It is mostly geared to piano pedagogy more so than performance, but there are some interesting articles and interviews there.  Unfortunately, Piano Quarterly is long gone, as is its successor, Piano & Keyboard.  There is another magazine published in the UK, International Piano, which has a website too.
