Flight of the bumblebee
on: January 06, 2008, 11:20:59 AM
I'm practicing The Flight of the Bumblebee by N. Rimsky-Korsakov /  S. Rachmaninov

I have a problem

The part where the right hand plays the main melody but adds a note on top doesn't come out enough...
I mean at first there are 5 a's then there are 4 d's then 4 a's but another octave higher..
I can't seem to make them come out enough and i think that's the point right? :P

Thanks in advance ^^

Oh nevermind :P
I got it :P
Just have to play those notes as 8th notes and hold them down instead of playing them as 16ths with being lazy... :P

I think you need a stronger little finger to play this with ascent. Try out different hand position/arc your little finger to produce a firm sound.  ;)
