Anddddddd she takes Texas, Rhode Island and Ohio, and loses Vermont.  *should be a pundit*

 I would like to point out that even though Obama lost the Texas primary by a very slim margin, he crushed Hillary in the Caucus- so much that he actually gained more delegates-99 to 94 estimated respectively. And now with wins in Wyoming (and Wyoming is not a black state obviously!) and Mississippi he has actually pulled even farther ahead in delegates.....

 Hillary will have to win BIG in PN to beat Obama, and I dont think thats really likely to happen, nor does anybody. Your woman is finished, unless a miracle happens or (and this is really quite likely) she tries to pull some shady buisness with the superdelagtes and other delagates- resluting perhaps in the collpase of the democratic party because of a power hungry wench.

Nah I don't think she will come out with the most delegates any more, nor did I when I wrote those posts.  I was mearly expressing the fact that it was possible, as opposed to what some people are saying.  Although because neither will have enough delegates, we'll just have to see.  Really no way to know what's gonna happen.

 I hope it will settle soon... The Republican's are already campaigning and raising money for the real fight and the Democrats are still locked in a bitter battle to the death that may fracture the party so much that Mccain could win it handily.

If McCain dies then Ron Paul is the candidate, right?

If he doesn't withdraw I suppose.

That must be what he's counting on!  ;D

Why do you support Obama?

Because the option of an aging, ill, coming-undone candidate with a moose-hunting, anti-intellectual, end-of-timer, crypto-Nazi running mate like Palin is too insane to consider.

That's why.

Furthermore, ahinton and thalbergmad, my first choices, are British and they can't run.

Why do you support Obama?

'Cause he seems to have at least some personal integrity;
'cause he seems to focus more on country problems rather than how to play unfair game;
'cause he seems to have some substance in what he is saying;
'cause he seems to be not as eratical and did not exhibit THAT SHEER AMOUNT of misjudgements;
'cause he's chosen the VP on terms of personal merits and usefulness for the country rather than political move;
'cause the VP he's chosen at least has some brains;
'cause he is not a self-proclaimed "maverick" who braggs all the time about his scars, which have nothing to do with leading country ::);
'cause he is not going to continue Bush's politics;
and if not anything else... he just looks like a president and not like an old and crippy uncle...

Best, M

I guess you confused me with somebody else--I have never been a Senator and there is very little chance I am going to become one... just for sheer reason I have no desire to.
And yes, somehow I realize that John McCain is not president Bush--they look quite differently... at least on TV.
