I would like suggestions re approaching this piece. How do u teach it?

I am a student, not a teacher, but I think the historical background behind this piece can contribute a lot to one's interpretation of it.
Mozart composed this sonata and the 20th piano concerto (in D minor) shortly after his mother's death in Paris. Notably, they are two of the relatively few works that Mozart composed in minor keys - which to me only emphasises the lack of the usual Mozart brilliance, and adds an ominous effect...
