The Cranes are Flying
on: April 07, 2008, 05:09:30 AM
Does anyone know what piece is being played in the 1957 movie, The Cranes are Flying, when Moscow is being bombed?
Thanks!

For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert. (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

IMDB lists this guy as the composer. Presumably he wrote the music for that scene.
