won 2nd place for Kiwanis music fest
on: April 07, 2008, 11:53:34 PM
yay...I won 2nd place for my competition this morning.

took part in the Concert class (ARCT), played the following pieces:
Bach Partita no.2 in c minor Sinfonia
Haydn Sonata in E flat major Hob:49 (complete)
Rachmaninoff Prelude in g sharp minor op.32 no.12

i'll type out the comments one of these days when I have the time to do it.

I myself felt that I could have done better if I did'nt slip at certain spots especially in the 1st mov of my Haydn sonata.

My teacher was very pleased and extremely proud of me so i'm happy too
J.S Bach Italian Concerto,Beethoven Sonata op.2 no.2,Mozart Sonatas K.330&333,Chopin Scherzo no.2,Etude op.10 no.12&Fantasie Impromptu

When are you going to move back to Singapore....Please tell us your audition in Singapore..

i'm moving back to singapore on June 21st no matter what happens.

My audition went well, I took it on the 7th of March. I am rather annoyed though because I still have gotten my results yet and I have already tried contacting them many times.

My mom, dad&brother are already back in singapore, getting things ready so that when I move back there we will have our home and i'll be able to get my grand piano.

i'm staying because I have my last theory exam(history 5) on may 9th and my ARCT performers on June 19th...I can't wait to be done with all of that
