Liszt Trascendental Etude 10 (or something like that...)

Hi everybody,

I studied this piece for some time, then stopped it for about 2 months and then started it again, so here are the results of my efforts. It's actually above my level so there are many technical problems. But i would like to hear some advice, both for technique and music.

The recording was done with a cheap micro on a cheap sound card on a cheap laptop, so it's a bit awful. Sorry.. And sorry for the mistakes.. But I didn't want to edit it that's why there are many. (And sorry for the ending... I can't do much better...)

Hi cOnfused,

The recording equipment as you said was not optimal. But in listening to your rendition, it's obvious that you've put a ton of work into this etude. I have not played No. 10 myself, so will leave specific comments and suggestions to others who have. But I can say that I believe you have this piece very well on the way. Good work!

Thanks for listening to my recording and for your good words. I have indeed put much work into this, but it still needs more... But I hope that i will manage to polish it and make it clear and nice...

I listened to it and I was pleasantly surprised. It's an enormously difficult piece and many people butcher it.
